JoeBuddenTV.com Launches

| Posted: May 10,2009 |
'Jersey' Joe Budden has been very busy lately. Between studio sessions for his upcoming 'Padded Room' album on Amalgam Digital, and endless promo appearances on radio stations both terrestrial and internet-based, he has been working on a pet project of his own... Reinventing the video blog format, hip-hop style.
"I call it Real Reality", Budden says. "It is uncut. It's not scripted. These shows on television call themselves reality, but let's be serious- that's not real. THIS is real reality. You never know what is going to be said or what is going to happen next." Why did Joe choose to keep his videos unscripted? "I felt it was only right that my fans get a chance to see the real me, since my music is so introspective, and I tend to put my real personality on every track that I do. JoeBuddenTV.com will show my fans the real Joe Budden, after I step out of the recording booth."
Joe's fans agree. His YouTube videos are generating heat faster than most in the genre- in fact most of his video postings are garnering upwards of 100,000 hits in a month. He is one of the top searched artists on mega blogs like WorldStarHipHop.com, AllHipHop.com, ThisIs50.com and others. So, Joe... with over 60 videos active online and over 2 million views so far- why start your own site?
"Simple. This site is for real fans that want to get involved. I am all about technology in 2009- my iPhone is constantly buzzing, I got more apps than anyone. When you join JoeBuddenTV.com, you can comment, join my special 'Jumpoff' section and meet other fans to network. I am the official admin of my site, which is crazy. My web team is the best in the business." So does that mean that your fans may see you in your forum? "I will be on the site regularly, and definitely check in with fans often." Now THAT'S real.
